TransMedia Group Hired to Spread Message That 'Smaller Is Better' When Assigning Outside Company to Do Your Company's Payroll

TransMedia Group said today that
it has been retained by The Payroll Professionals to spread the word that a
smaller company can do payroll just as effectively as the "big guys," but at a
lower cost, while restoring something that's gotten lost in the process --
personalized service.
In a twist of marketing strategy, the firm said it has hired a former
district sales manager away from the giant payroll company Automatic Data
Process, known as ADP, and assigned her to head up the new account at
TransMedia.
The new hire, Lesley Gross, will be in charge of marketing to the South
Florida business community the message that "smaller is better" when it comes
to assigning a company to do payroll for small to mid-sized companies.
"I'm impressed that The Payroll Professionals is able to offer their
clients a product that is just as efficient and effective as what much larger
payroll companies provide their customers, but at a lower cost and with much
more personalized service included," Gross said.
Family owned and operated since 1977, The Payroll Professionals, based in
South Florida, offers a full roster of services. They include paycheck
preparation (with no charge for checks); quarterly signature-ready Federal
Form 941 and State unemployment forms; annual signature-ready Federal form
940, W-2, W-3 electronic filing and preparation of all tax checks
automatically when due.
In addition, The Payroll Professionals offer complementary packages from
EFTPS/tax payment to complete PC downloading with custom capability, Gross
said. "Their technological sophistication and the broad range of customized
services they offer is truly remarkable for the modest prices they charge,"
she added. "I would have hated to have had to compete against them when I was
at ADP in Chicago."
TransMedia Group is a full-service public relations and marketing firm
serving clients worldwide since 1981.
