As two highly successful women
reached the peak of their corporate careers in technology solutions, Renee
Bacherman and Karen Degner dreamed of channeling their artistic sides into

Renee Bacherman, President and CEO of Fischer International Corporation, a
privately held technology company based in Naples, Florida, has more than 25
years' experience in the business world. Karen Degner, who currently serves as
Vice President for a high-tech consulting firm in Herndon, Virginia, has more
than 15 years' experience in management.
After decades as high-tech executives, their mutual interests and values
naturally evolved into a business partnership, and thus PurpleTrunk was born.
