FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
BOCA RATON, FLORIDA. DEC. 8 1999 -The Noble Financial
Group today raised over one thousand dollars for charity before
presenting its investment outlook for the year 2000 to some
sixty investors who gathered at the Grand Ballroom of the
Boca Raton Marriott early this morning to hear well researched
predictions on technology stocks, interest rates and the future
of corporate profits. The charity, The Children's Place for
Home Safe provides shelter for abused or abandoned children.
Titled "Investment Outlook for Year 2000 & Beyond," the presentation
was led by Noble's top financial analysts Daniel Morgan and
Peter van Hengel following their featured guest appearance
on WSBR Radio's "First Word On Investing" hosted by Daryl
Logullo which was also broadcast from the Marriott Hotel for
the first time.
"At about 20 percent internationally, PC penetration rates
are still low worldwide. The corporate software industry is
booming at a rate of $135 billion a year and Y2K concerns
are receding," said Morgan. "With the Internet exploding,
business-to-business commerce should hit $400 billion. US
telephone companies will spend $55 billion to upgrade current
networks. Global wireless subscribers should grow by four
times to 1 billion people by year 2002. This all coupled with
the potential for the semiconductor industry to double in
the next five years places us in a technological revolution,"
he said.
Van Hengel was equally bullish on the market. "Even though
some of the other sectors like healthcare are out of the technology
limelight, pharmaceuticals will be the lifebouy of the investor
when the market starts to correct. There is no change in the
current trend other than some profit taking. The music will
play on," he said.
With twelve years of experience Daniel Morgan is a respected
Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager at The Noble Financial
Group, specializing in the technology sector. Previously he
worked with Kidder Peabody, Smith Barney and Prudential Bache.
He is a frequent guest on network financial programs including
