U.S. Polo Assn. Signs Belt Licensee;
U.S. Polo Association, A division Of Jordache Enterprises, Signs License For
Belts And Small Leather Goods With The Max Leather Group
New York, Feb. 11/PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Polo Association has added a new element to its clothing
collection. An agreement was announced today with The Max Leather Group to
launch a new line of belts and small leather goods. The launch will focus on
belts with details gleaned from the lifestyle of the U.S. Polo Assn.
consumer: classic, relaxed, athletic and all American. The line will
include a core leather collection as well as a fashion collection featuring
some new takes on webbing. Items will be priced to retail between $9.99 and
$19.99 and is targeted for a mid-tier distribution.
The Max Leather Group/Cipriani Accessories is a 30-year-old, privately
held company with showroom and design studios located in New York City. Max
Leather holds licenses with DKNY, CK Calvin Klein, Nautica, Sean John, Nine
West, Guess, AK Anne Klein, Jones NY, Eckored and Michael Kors. Their
private label programs range from high-end department stores and specialty
stores to mass market retailers.

The inaugural collection will premiere at the Magic Apparel Trade event
in Las Vegas February 23 - 26. The U.S. Polo Association booth will be
inside the Las Vegas Convention Center, streetwear section, in booth number
ST-30438. Along with the U.S. Polo Association's sportswear line and its
complementing licensees, the booth houses Jordache's family of brands
including: Fubu Ladies, Gasoline, Kikit and Jordache Vintage.
