Apache, The Legendary Boat Builder That's Had Its Highs And Lows,
Retains TransMedia To Herald Its Return To Prominence
DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- About 15 months ago, Thaddeus M. Allen rescued and revived one of the most
respected, legendary names in rough-water power boating -- Apache Offshore
Powerboats. Apache is now ready to tell the world that the legacy has been
preserved, even markedly improved, and has retained TransMedia Group to
publicize that the legend is "Alive and Well."
"Apache Powerboats will introduce a new line of sleeker and faster,
quality-built powerboats in 2004," said Allen, Apache's enthusiastic
President and CEO. "Each Apache powerboat is made with the highest quality
material, with the ultimate care and dedication of our team, continuing the
legacy of creating the world's best rough-water powerboats," he said.
Apache will be an exhibitor at the Miami International Boat Show in
February, and will reveal details of their Apache 41 Warpath -- their next
generation powerboat. Handcrafted and custom-made parts and accessories,
such as the "shotgun style" exhaust system, make the Apache 41 Warpath
unique in design and engineering. To differentiate from the older Apache
models, the entire line-up of new 41' Apaches are branded as the Quantum
Series. Everything from the exterior deck to the cabin to the engine
compartment is technologically advanced with complete and unbeatable
attention to detail.
According to TransMedia Group's President Glen Calder, Apache will soon
open their second state-of-the-art fiber-glassing facility for boat building
and plans on building 12 custom units per year. "Apache is alive and well,
and their waiting list is deservedly growing," added Calder.
"Just about every boat Apache ever built is still in the water today.
Our customers love that each boat is backed with incredible customer
service, 24- hour response and a lifetime warranty on the hull," added
Allen. Apache Powerboats truly are the finest example of a very high-end,
extremely personalized, and high-powered offshore powerboat that allow
customers to be an integral part of the entire purchase process all the way
to the final in-water delivery, including design and fabrication.
