TransMedia Extends It's Lead As Palm Beach County's Largest Public Relations Firm
BOCA RATON, FL., January 14, 2004.--TTransMedia Group said today that with net fee revenues of over $900,000, it continues to be the largest public relations firm by far in Palm Beach County, according to rankings compiled by South Florida Business Journal and other sources that track the size of PR firms nationwide.
"We're continuing to expand as we start the new year with a record number of clients, including companies signed this month, Universal Express and Apache Offshore Motorboats, plus returning clients, U.S. Polo/Jordache" and The DeSantis Collection," said TransMedia President Glen Calder.
"While we're growing, we're still mindful that it's not size alone that makes a PR firm productive," said Calder.
According to Calder, there are many PR firms in the country that are much larger than TransMedia, but we don't think they are anywhere near as effective. There is little correlation between size and effectiveness. It still comes down to the quality of your staff and how hard and smart they work."
The firm's bi-lingual staff has expanded to 14 recently, including two publicists who work for the Boca Raton-based firm out of New York City.
Established in 1981, TransMedia serves clients worldwide.
