LaStrada Retains TransMedia Group To Showcase Its Exclusive Custom
Furnishings And Complimentary Interior Design Services
PR Newswire -- April 29, 2002
BOCA RATON, Fla., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- LaStrada has retained
TransMedia Group to furnish high-style publicity for its on-site factory,
premiere interior design services and dramatic showrooms, including its new
establishment here at University Commons.
TransMedia will showcase LaStrada's innovative creations, including some
with remote-controlled James Bond-style mechanisms that make units rise and
disappear for incomparable space savings and dramatic effect.
"LaStrada doesn't just design and build furniture. It fulfills dreams by
creating beautiful homes," says TransMedia CEO, Thomas Madden. "Our campaign
will make homebuyers, developers and architects realize that even their most
lavish desires can be fulfilled."
With breathtaking showrooms in Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton, LaStrada
takes interior design to a new level of service and perfection. Clients meet
with LaStrada design consultants who oversee the entire project, from the
initial renderings through the creation process, to the final installation.
They show homebuyers what their rooms could look like even before they take
possession.
"We are the only company who makes everything in-house," says LaStrada
President Eli Mordehay. "Therefore, the client's designer watches the
building
process everyday to offer full quality control. Our motto is 'If you can
dream
it, we can build it.'"
At the factory, one sees the blend of Old World craftsmanship and state-
of-the-art technology. In one area, master cabinetmakers carve intricate
designs into a huge wall unit, which features motorized mechanisms, allowing
for the television unit to rotate 180 degrees, bringing forth a wine bar and
fireplace. In another section, painters painstakingly create the exact shade
a
customer requested for a column, which when pulled from the wall, reveals a
CD
rack.
These high-tech features attract high profile clients including
recording
artists, sports stars and CEOs, he said. "We offer numerous remote control
and
space saving designs for every room in the home," explained Mordehay. "We
can
also match any color, create any finish and offer any fabric."
LaStrada's innovative approach offers something special for any size
budget. Once the designer understands the client's dream and what they'd
like
to spend, they can offer options on creating that look. "We can do wonders
with faux finishes and other cost-saving plans," said Mordehay.
LaStrada has locations in Lauderhill and Boca Raton, Florida. For more
