FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. MARCH 7, 2002.- The Maritime Security Council is using a high speed access control and accountability system to make sure that delegates attending its conference in Fort Lauderdale today, are really who they say they are.

The MSC conference will receive briefings by some of the world's leading experts in maritime counter terrorism, security, and narcotics interdiction, but first, they'll have to pass through a FAST-PASS(r) system developed by Security Identification Systems Corporation (SISCO).

"FAST-PASS will provide high-speed, interactive, photo identification, access control screening and identification of all delegates as they enter and exit the MSC conference," said SISCO's CEO Anthony Zagami. "In a verification process that takes only seconds, our system creates a real time audit trail. It will capture a color photograph of the visitor in digital format, correlate it to an authorized database of registrants and display it on a monitor as they enter and exit the conference," Zagami said.

Used by the New York City Police Department (NYPD) at 1 Police Plaza and a number of fortune 500 companies including correctional, petrochemical and financial facilities, FAST-PASS(r) is a high-speed visitor registration and photographic badging system that assists security administrative personnel with the handling and managing of visitor traffic.

The state-of the-art system can store database information for over one million visitors. It offers accountability, tracking, and real-time reporting features. Customizable visitor reports register daily, weekly and monthly visitor counts as well as the ability to search for visitors by company department, date, time and visiting employee. Optional biometric devices can also be integrated.

High-level delegates attending the MSC conference include Admiral James Underwood (USCG) - Director of Intelligence & Security, DoT who delivers the keynote address today. The MSC conference runs March 6-8.

Located in West Palm Beach, FL, Security Identification Systems Corporation (SISCO) is an innovator in high-volume access control and surveillance. Since 1994, SISCO - www.sisco.cc, has established itself as the preferred industry provider to marine, cruise lines, correctional, law enforcement, petrochemical, financial and government facilities.
