Naviant Names Richard Schell as Chief Financial Officer

BOCA RATON, Fla., March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Naviant Inc., the e-mail marketing giant, today announced the appointment of Richard A. Schell as its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Schell has thirty years of experience in the financial management of public and private companies including, most recently, NetByTel, Inc. and Daleen Technologies, Inc. Mr. Schell will be responsible for all the financial aspects of Naviant and their divisions, which include eDirect, Data One Marketing and Sweepsclub.com.

Prior to joining Naviant, Schell was CFO at NetByTel, Inc., where he handled all the company's financial responsibilities including financial reporting, budgeting, private equity offerings, acquisitions, human resources, financial planning and strategy. From 1994 to 2001, Mr. Schell was Executive Vice President and CFO of Daleen Technologies in Boca Raton. At Daleen, Schell was responsible for raising over $100 million in private and public capital, including managing the company's initial public offering in October 1999.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from Western Kentucky University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1973.
