TransMedia Group Sees Strong Year Ahead for PR Based
on Number of New Clients Signing in January
BOCA RATON, Fla., Feb 4 /PRNewswire/--TransMedia Group said today its client roster for 2002 is percolating with new clients, which it sees as a clear sign this will be a strong year for the public relations services business. The firm said five more clients came onboard in January, bringing the total to seven who signed with Palm Beach County's largest PR firm, a record in a single month.
"We seem to be accelerating out of the recession, which is another sign the worst may be over for our economy," said TransMedia Chairman Thomas J. Madden. The new clients are Security Identification Systems Corporation (SISCO), Ituran, Hirebridge, Ikonisys, Inc. and SunSpots, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Edge Medical Technologies in Seattle. They join Haifa, Inc. and
Jerusalem Alliance Foundation, which also retained TransMedia in January.
SISCO is the leading security supplier to the cruise ship industry and has adapted its acclaimed Access Control Systems for airports, seaports, corporate headquarters and even police stations. When SISCO's CEO Anthony Zagami testified recently before a U.S. Senate Sub Committee on security at Florida's ports, Sen. John Breaux praised its "A Pass" security system as "excellent."
Ituran is a leading Israeli security company now providing a broad range of security services in South Florida, such as tracking fleets of vehicles by radio frequency, and other vehicle location and recovery services.
Hirebridge is an Application Service Provider offering inexpensive job applicant software enabling small businesses to be more efficient and streamlined in their hiring practices.
Ikonisys has developed a technology that combines the power of genomics and information technology to revolutionize detection of genetic disorders, cancer, infectious disease and toxic organisms.
SunSpots Inc. supplies stickers that indicate levels of UVB rays so people can know when it's time to apply more sun block to avoid sunburn or other skin
damage leading to skin cancer.
"All of these new clients have unique stories to tell, which we'll disseminate worldwide," said Madden. TransMedia serves clients in New York, California, Europe and Israel and represents some of South Florida's largest employers, including Precision Response Corp. and Naviant. The full-services PR firm has Internet Marketing, Publishing and Investor Relations divisions at The TransMedia Building in Boca Raton.
