Fort Lauderdale, FL, October 25, 2000 -- The South Florida Chamber of Commerce today announced it will present the South Florida Business Showcase 2000 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2000, at the Broward County Convention Center. The South Florida Chamber of Commerce is producing the event in cooperation with the Broward County Chamber of Commerce, the South Florida Technology Council and the South Florida Business Exchange and will be hosting the gathering for an expected 4,000 attendees with 300 hundred exhibitors expected to participate.

"We are hosting the South Florida Business Showcase 2000 as a way to provide businesses and organizations with the necessary means to establish and develop partnerships and to promote economic growth," said Al Otero, Executive Director of the South Florida Chamber of Commerce. "We've designed Showcase 2000 to be used by our members as a tool to further their reach. Members as well as the general public will benefit from our massive efforts to promote networking, educational and marketing opportunities at this event."

Services at the event will include seminars on the topics of management, publishing, business improvement and cost-effective business programs. Guest speakers will focus on the technology industry and international trade. The showcase will also feature workshops and a virtual career center.
