BOCA RATON, FL., October 5, 2000.--The Noble Financial Group today announced the acquisition of Karlin Financial Services, a full-service financial resources firm that specialized in financial, estate and tax planning strategies for corporate and individual clients.

"Larry Karlin brings to our organization over two decades of knowledge and experience as a certified financial planner," said Nico Pronk, President of The Noble Financial Group. Larry will share with them his knowledge of today's complex financial issues," Pronk said.

A 1972 graduate of Penn State University, Karlin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Insurance. He was an understudy of Herbert Denenberg, former Insurance Commissioner for the State of Pennsylvania. During his career, Karlin worked for Minnesota Life, Dean Witter and Bank of America, advancing from financial consultant to vice president and branch manager, before founding his own financial services firm.

In 1992, he was awarded the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He holds NASD Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses, is a Registered Securities Principal and a licensed Life, Health and Annuity agent. A respected expert on retirement planning issues, Karlin has authored and lectured on many financial subjects, including estate and college education planning.

Karlin's community outreach includes his active membership in the Masonic Lodge, where he was recently honored for 25 years of service. He is also active with the Shriners and was a Charter Member and Vice President of the Savannah Chapter of the Sertoma Club, a national service organization that provides financial support for speech and hearing centers nationwide. An avid cyclist, he recently biked more than 400 miles across the North of France in the Normandy and Brittany regions. Karlin lives in Boca Raton and has two daughters.
