ITHACA, NY, September 11, 2000 -Is there a hospitality lawyer in the house? If you're in Ithaca, New York, you'll have no trouble trying to find one this weekend on the campus of Cornell University.

This week lawyers and executives throughout the hospitality industry will be packing their bags, gathering their pads and pencils and traveling to attend the Bickel & Brewer Legal Strategy Conference, the only hotel law conference in the country sponsored by a major hotel school.

The conference is where lodging industry executives and their counsel brush up each year on the twists and turns in E-Commerce and Internet law, the deal environment brewing for mega hotel mergers and IPOs and other hot legal issues swirling around the hospitality industry.
