Joielle Jewelry & Ritz Foods Dazzle Dancers With Salsa,
Samba & Shopping: A Fundraiser For Adopt-A Classroom

BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 19 /PRNewswire/
Miguel Posternak, CEO of Joielle Jewelry and Barbara Leon Vice President of Ritz Foods International danced the night away with over 500 people who attended Salsa, Samba and Shopping, a fundraiser for Miami-based Adopt-a-Classroom, held at the Gold Coast Ballroom in Coconut Creek on Sunday evening, December 16, 2001. Party-goers were treated to three raffles of exquisite sterling silver necklaces accented with sparkling gemstones, a lavish holiday jewelry boutique, and a special tasting Tropic's Yuca Chips, a new all-natural, low-fat snack food currently at Whole Foods and Wild Oats and soon to be at Publix supermarkets.

"I wanted to give something back to the community," said Posternak, whose direct sales company of fine jewelry is attracting people from all over South Florida who want to start their own businesses. "I felt that Adopt-a-Classroom is a magnificent South Florida charity which directs funds to specific classrooms enabling teachers to purchase items that enrich the learning environment," he continued.

Adopt-a-Classroom, Founder and Executive Director, James Rosenberg spoke to the crowd about his organization, which will be featured on ABC's World News Tonight in the next few weeks and also drew the raffle winners for the evening. The prize winners included Nissam Malul of Ft. Lauderdale, Tina Trosso of Delray Beach, and 8-year-old Connor Montana of Plantation who presented the necklace to his grandmother, Dotti Eberhart of Boca Raton.

In between Latin dances, the crowd purchased jewelry and ate several cases of Tropic's Yuca Chips. "When you are partying, you like to munch," said Barbara Leon. "Knowing that you are snacking on a great tasting chip that is all-natural and has 40% less fat than regular potato chips takes all the guilt away."

At the end of the fiesta, Posternak thanked the crowd, the gracious owner of Gold Coast Ballroom, Jeff Sandler; and offered his company's assistance to any non-profit organization. "Joielle is committed to helping the South Florida community," said Posternak. "We are always willing to help a charity that needs to add some sparkle to their event."
