Los Angeles School of Gymnastics Selects TransMedia to Publicize LA Lights 2011, Its Premier International Event From Jan. 20 to 23
Once again, the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics, America's premier gymnastics training center, reaches clear across the country to retain Florida-based TransMedia Group to publicize the most celebrated international event in gymnastics, the LA Lights Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament of Champions 2011.
The event is the largest multi-level competition in the world, drawing top gymnasts from around the globe and culminates in a dramatic awards ceremony and gymnastics celebration. The event kicks off Jan. 20 at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Culver City.
LASG General Manager Tanya Berenson said she chose TransMedia Group (www.transmediagroup.com) because of the firm's international sports media connections and its experience in working with such athletes as Olympic Gold Medalist Dara Torres.

LA Lights 2011 is the first and only event in the U.S. and one of only 12 in the gymnastics global community to be approved by the Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG). Recognized by the International Olympic Committee and its officials as the oldest of international sport federations, FIG is the supreme authority on international gymnastics.
The LA Lights Tournament of Champions serves as the primary route for major international tournaments including the World Championship and the Olympic Games.
