America’s Premiere Rhythmic Gymnastics Event Hosted by the LA School of Gymnastics To Feature Olympic Gold and Silver Medalists from Beijing
Competitors from 35 countries vie for “gold” at LA Lights 2009, the largest Rhythmic Event in the World -- January 22-25, 2009

America’s premier Rhythmic Gymnastics event, LA Lights 2009, hosted by the prestigious LA School of Gymnastics, will be held in Los Angeles from January 22-25, 2009. This event will be the biggest lineup of Olympic champions and athletes since the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Sponsored by the City of Culver City Human Services Department, all the events in this invitational will take place at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, CA.
"We are thrilled to announce that the 2008 All-Around Olympic Gold Medalist in Rhythmic Gymnastics, Eugenia Kanaeva from Russia, will be competing in this year’s event, in addition to the Silver medalist, Inna Jhukova, also from Russia.” says Tanya Hallman, LA School of Gymnastics Meet Manager. She adds, “This event is without a doubt America's Premiere Rhythmic Gymnastics Event, which will be covered by International, national and regional media. Rhythmic Gymnasts from all over the world will be competing.”
Grand Prize for the event is a $7,000 Diamond limited event edition watch, plus $5000 in stakes prizes and winnings, prizes for the top three Senior Level 10 Division placements within the top six places, according to Alla Svirsky, Event Technical Director, USA National and Olympic coach.
