J.P. Hervis, a former broadcast journalist brings his ten years of relentless work ethics to find a client’s story and turn it into something the public and media will take note of.
J.P. was the Morning Anchor at WPBF-TV, the ABC affiliate in the West Palm Beach area, where he co-anchored a two hour long morning newscast five days a week. J.P. was also a reporter for WSVN-TV, the Fox affiliate in the Miami-Ft Lauderdale area, where he had to “run and gun” with and against some of the best reporters in the country. J.P. also spent time as a reporter and anchor at WLBT-TV, the NBC affiliate in Jackson, Mississippi and WBOY-TV, the NBC affiliate in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
J.P. has covered an array of politics; local to federal level, deadly hurricanes, raging wildfires, the crime beat, wide ranging economic stories, among many other topics. J.P.'s stories and live reports have appeared on national cable news networks. He has received awards and recognition for his work from the West Virginia Associated Press, Mississippi Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists, and National Academy of Arts and Sciences. Much of his professional recognition was due to his investigative work.
Along with shaping a client’s story, J.P. specializes in media training, media relations, and crisis management. He uses his inside experience to help clients learn about and get comfortable with handling today’s world of fast-paced media.
