IntelliGender, Maker of At-Home Gender Prediction Tests, Stands Behind its Policy to Prohibit Sales in China
IntelliGender, the world's first at-home urine-based gender prediction test originating in the United States, has been gaining a lot of media attention lately due to an unauthorized Chinese website that claimed to sell their tests. IntelliGender is currently available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Russia, Turkey, and throughout the Middle East.
Recent news coverage however, has suggested that IntelliGender is being sold in China via a website that was formed under the guise of IntelliGender. IntelliGender does not and has not ever sold their product to China and the bogus website has since been shut down by the Chinese authorities.
Gender prediction in China is illegal except under medical circumstances and thus IntelliGender has never been sold in this country. Any product that is being sold there under the semblance of IntelliGender is counterfeit, not an authentic IntelliGender product and has no affiliation with IntelliGender.
Co-Founders, Rebecca Griffin and Teresa Garland have released the following statement: "IntelliGender does not sell our GPT test in China or India; nor do we license the sale of our product to either of these countries. If the test is being sold locally in either of these markets, it is not an IntelliGender authorized sale and we do not support this product."
