 Israel News Network (INN) Retains TransMedia to Publicize Its Debut on Comcast Cable; Program to 'Check and Balance' Al Jazeera English

Israel News Network (INN), www.IsraelNewsNetwork.com, said it has retained TransMedia Group to publicize INN's debut next month as a weekly half hour news program Sunday mornings on Comcast.
The program will begin airing in South Florida at 7 AM, Sunday, Aug. 30 and then expand to other markets and gradually to a longer format of news and feature stories on Israel and the Middle East in response to the expansion of Al Jazeera English in the U.S.
"Our publicity will underscore INN's plan to bring more perspective, balance and accuracy to the way Al Jazeera English covers Israel," said TransMedia Group's CEO Tom Madden, a former Vice President and Assistant to the President of NBC.
According to TransMedia, each INN program would feature a segment that is related to the Al Jazeera report of the week that INN will expand upon. For example, if Al Jazeera reports that Israeli checkpoints don't allow Palestinians to get proper medical care, INN would run a feature about IDF medics who work in the West Bank and treat EVERYONE who needs help, even injured terrorists.
TransMedia's publicity will explain that INN is supported by the public interest watchdog group, Freedom Watch, which is a joint venture partner with INN. Founded by pro-Israel attorney Larry Klayman, Freedom Watch has offices in Washington, DC, Beverly Hills and now Boca Raton, Madden said.
