It’s Time to Opt-Out of the Recession: i-am-anti-recession LLC Selects TransMedia Group to Promote Its Concept to Save Retail and Benefit the Consumer

i-am-anti-recession LLC, (www.i-am-anti-recession.com) the innovative and comprehensive marketing campaign designed to help businesses, shopping center retailers and local communities thrive in this economy while providing value to the consumer, has hired TransMedia Group to promote it nationally.
The i-am-anti-recession campaign works by bringing retail tenants, restaurants and businesses into a new relationship with their customers. “This program will increase foot traffic and customer loyalty through in-store promotions, a dynamic website to locate savings, store window signs and stickers, banners, P.O.P. displays, logo buttons for employees and customers, national and local media blitzes, shopping center events, consumer giveaways and sweepstakes prizes,” said Larry Suchman, co-founder of i-am-anti-recession LLC and President of Suchman Retail Group in Miami, a successful real estate firm with almost 50 years experience. “It’s going to be a fun, catchy and upbeat program with promotions all aimed at creating a positive attitude, intrigue, awareness and buzz.”
i-am-anti-recession is the brainchild of Philip Leitman, a Miami businessman who successfully ran a similar campaign that boosted his companies’ sales by a whopping 20% during a prior recession. Leitman is partners with Larry Suchman and President of the not-for-profit NTM Info & Research (www.ntminfo.org). “This is about opting out of the recession and being proactive to help business and the community. I’ve done it before and it works!”
Over 100 retailers in South Florida have joined the anti-recession campaign which will officially debut in August. Monthly giveaways of iPods, digital cameras, spa days and flat screen TVs, will be promoted in stores and on the website in an effort to drive foot traffic to the retail stores.
“The excitement has already started building with people and store owners, and we will soon announce a charitable partnership with American Lung Association in Florida. The sooner we denounce this recession, we can truly make it go away,” said Glen Calder, President of TransMedia Group. “The rallying cry will be, ‘Have this recession without me!’”
