Designs by Galit Rondin has selected TransMedia Group to publicize her collection of hand-crafted jewelry created from assorted pieces she discovers around Manhattan and on the Internet. "Who says the average woman can't afford elegant, mood-lifting designer jewelry in these drab economic times?" according to Lynn Lewis, Director of Beauty & Fashion Public Relations for TransMedia Group. Though it looks much more expensive, Galit's designer jewelry retails from $300 to $1000.

Galit's one-of-a-kind creations include necklaces, bracelets, earrings and upper arm pieces that will undoubtedly grab attention of magazine editors, she added.

Mazzone herself wears a Galit original with leopards, geckos and crystals embedded in the dazzling necklace, which she plans to wear to industry events.
