To commemorate its 50th Anniversary this year, Elite Dry Cleaners will clean the dress uniforms of men and women serving in the U.S. Military for free.
“If anyone deserves the title ‘elite,’ it is the brave men and woman serving in the U.S. armed forces and to honor them, we’ll proudly clean their dress uniforms at no charge from now until the end of the year,” said Rosemary O'Mara, proprietor of the family owned and operated dry cleaners since 1959.
Elite said it will treat military personnel to the highest quality of cleaning service at its state-of-the-art dry cleaning facility located on Federal Highway in downtown Boca Raton (across from Royal Palm Place).
TransMedia Group is planning a 50th Anniversary party 6 to 8 PM on Oct. 28 to celebrate Elite’s half century of “Getting the Stains Out” as the corner dry cleaners has become a Boca Raton icon serving thousands of residents.
The party will have a 50’s theme and feature a Marilyn Monroe look-alike contest and Rock ‘n Roll music by special guest Jamie King Colton, whose songs have topped the charts. Colton will play one of his hit singles “King Colton.”
Part of the proceeds from an auction of paintings of Marilyn Monroe will support a local charity.
