South Florida to Get its First Look at World's Largest Cruise Ship 'Liberty of the Seas' at Christening of Cruise Industry's Newest Website 'Cruisejungle.com'
5/9/2007
South Florida will get its first look at the world's largest cruise ship, Liberty of the Seas, Monday May 14th at the launching of consumer website http://www.cruisejungle.com.
Instead of the traditional champagne bottle breaking, company officials and guests will take part in the world's first "Banana Breaking" to mark the launch of the cruise industry's newest and most innovative source of consumer information.
The inaugural event is scheduled 11:30 AM aboard Liberty of the Seas at the Port of Miami and will include a luncheon reception for press, dignitaries and cruise industry leaders.
Liberty of the Seas actually shares the "largest cruise ship" title with sister ship Freedom of the Seas. She will be the first Royal Caribbean ship to roll out enhanced onboard programming in wellness, weddings, family and teen activities.
CruiseJungle.com is the emerging leader in providing consumers with comprehensive, independent and objective information about cruising.
Because CruiseJungle.com does not sell cruises, it presents cruise information in a fair and impartial manner, ranging from dining tips, excursion suggestions, family reunion cruising, corporate and incentive travel to finding Texas Hold-em tournaments and extensive pre-cruise travel tips all readily accessible on-line.
Speakers will include CruiseJungle.com founder Joe Ewart, a 30-year cruise industry veteran and member of the Cruise Lines International Association's Hall of Fame, as well as Lisa Baujer, Senior Vice President of sales for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.
Visitors in attendance for the launch party will be able to see the FlowRider surf simulator, cantilevered whirlpools suspended 112 feet above the ocean, the H2O Zone water park and the Royal Promenade entertainment boulevard.
