Why Just Shop This Holiday Season, When You Can “Drop While You Shop” for Prizes at Downtown Crossing?

In conjunction with Polar Beverages, Celsius is sponsoring “Drop While You Shop” – a contest at Downtown Crossing in Boston on Saturday, December 13th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Celsius is asking participants to “drop” calories as they shop and “drop” an unwrapped toy for a holiday toy drive at the Celsius booth in front of Macy’s in Downtown Crossing. Prizes for first, second and third place will be awarded the day of the contest.
Celsius, the original calorie burning beverage, has been scientifically shown to drop up to 100 calories or more per can and helps to boost metabolism. Celsius will have free samplings for participants and onlookers to taste and help burn calories as they shop. Pit stops will be set up throughout Downtown Crossing.
Each contestant will receive a free pedometer (or step meter), a device that clips onto your waistband, that calculates the distance you walked and how many calories you burned. The contest begins promptly at 12:00 noon and ends at 3:00 PM at the Celsius booth in the square. The winner that burns the most calories and clocks the most steps will receive a $500 gift certificate for Downtown Crossing shopping. The second place participant will receive a $200 gift certificate and 6 third place participants will receive a 3-month membership to the Atlantis Sports Club. Contest is limited to the first 250 participants that register.
Pre-registration will be available online at www.celsius.com and at the information Kiosk at Downtown Crossing between Washington and Winter Streets. There is no cost to register – but Celsius is asking for a donation of a new unwrapped toy for the holiday toy drive. Registration will also be available onsite at the Celsius tent on the day of the contest from 11:00 AM until noon. Details are as follows:
