ONE OF SOUTH FLORIDA’S LEADING INTERNATIONAL PR FIRMS, TRANSMEDIA GROUP, JUST STRENGTHENED ITS TIES TO BRAZIL’S BOOMING ECONOMY BY JOINING THE BRAZILIAN-AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF FLORIDA
In the midst of a large-scale publicity campaign in Brazil for client PuntoMio, TransMedia Group, one of Florida’s leading international PR firms, strengthened its Brazilian connections by joining the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, the largest Bi-National Chamber in the region.
According to Brazilian-born TransMedia publicist Louise Canuto, “TransMedia’s business both in Brazil and with the Brazilian business community regionally is growing, which makes membership in the Brazilian chamber strategically important.” As TransMedia (www.transmediagroup.com) serves clients worldwide, whatever it publicizes in English, the award-winning firm also mirrors in Portuguese, Spanish, French and Hebrew.
“As a member of the Brazilian American Chamber, TransMedia Group will have an opportunity to foster closer relationships between South Florida and Brazil and also to strengthen ties with the local Brazilian community,” said Canuto, who was born in Belém.
“As Brazil takes the forefront of economic growth, it is only natural that TransMedia sharpens its focus on this powerhouse and becomes more active in the rising Brazilian community within the United States and abroad,” says Tom Madden, Chairman and Founder of TransMedia Group.
TransMedia Group recently has signed a record number of new clients seeking publicity campaigns, and has consequently expanded its staff, including hiring more Portuguese-speaking publicists to work on PR campaigns for clients such as PuntoMio and its partner BrandsMart in Brazil.
Besides Canuto, the firm’s staff includes Natalia Pinheiro, a native of Bahia, and graduate of the University of Salvador, Brazil. Both publicists are fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish, and bring their outstanding communication skills, as well as the rich Brazilian culture to the company and its clients.
