4/19/2004
BOCA RATON, Fla., April 19/PRNewswire/ -- Japanese spiced seared tuna, bamboo steamed sea bass, Philippine meatloaf, and sake spiked filet mignon. It's east meets west at the upscale Bong Restaurant. Ernesto "Bong" Sta. Maria, Jr., owner and chairman of the newly opened, $2.7 million restaurant, has retained TransMedia Public Relations Group to infuse Bong's more authentic Asian Fusion cuisine into the heart, mind, and palate of Boca Raton.

From traditional Asian dishes to sushi to Asian Fusion entrees, Bong Restaurant's unique lunch and dinner menu offers an enormous array of options, not only in taste, but in price as well. Thailand-trained Chef Tip Vichyavichien creates Asian specialties including sweet and sour pork, red curry chicken, shrimp tempura, and ginger-dusted yellowtail snapper. For lunch, Bong offers its distinctive Bento boxes, with options such as the traditional Japanese bento, vegetarian bento, Thai bento, and the "fill-you- up" special. Aside from its lunch and dinner entrees, Bong also has an extensive drink menu.

Bong Restaurant's Asian-accented atmosphere, with both impressive exterior design elements and sophisticated, boldly colored interior space, seats up to 270 and caters to any group. Apart from its traditional dining areas, it also offers private dining rooms and meeting rooms that use the latest technology for corporate groups. The Manila and Bangkok private rooms combined, holding up to 50 guests, have an interactive SmartBoard, adjustable soundproof panels, as well as teleconferencing equipment. Successful entrepreneur and owner, Mr. Bong, is enthusiastic about the restaurant's capabilities. "I believe that providing an exciting ambience, delivering impeccable service and serving great-tasting food to our guests are the key ingredients to make a successful restaurant."

Bong Restaurant is located at 150 E. Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton. It is open for lunch and dinner on Monday through Friday; dinner only on Saturday and Sunday. An exciting "Samurai Bar" offers 2-for-1 drinks during Happy Hour (Monday - Friday, 5pm - 6:30 pm) and all night on Ladies' Night (Wednesday).
