heart! Bailout! The Game (www.bailoutthegame.com) may soon be coming to your
living room and has retained TransMedia Group to publicize how you can win a
bailout too by piling up huge debt, just like the big banks.
The award-winning board game Bailout ($29.95) is a strategic satire of the
Federal government's handling of the current financial crisis. The makers of
the game, Liberty Street Games, want TransMedia to get the word out that the
worse you do financially, the better your chances of winning in Bailout! The
Game.
"Most people think it's a gag gift or joke, but once they experience the game
and strategy involved... they get hooked. Bailout! The Game is made in the
US, is an environmentally green product and most importantly is fun and easy
to play," said Glen Calder, President of TransMedia Group

Bailout! The Game was developed by an architect and a homeschool mom, and has
already received The Toy Man's(TM) Seal of Approval, eco-Recognition(TM) Seal,
Award of Excellence and eChoice(TM) Award. In November, Bailout! The Game
will be presenting to retailers and gamers at the prominent Chicago Toy & Game
Fair.
"We created the game concept by trying to explain to our kids what the
T.A.R.P. was... and it eventually turned into this wonderful strategic game.
The feedback has been overwhelming and the orders keep pouring in," explains
Shari Sopourn, who invented the game along with her husband Jordy and with
creative input from daughters Brianna and Lauren.
"You get to be a Chief Financial Officer of a Bank, an institution that is
hanging on by a thread, and you need to undermine the competition, endure the
uncertainty of the stock market, avoid hostile takeovers, and deal with the
instability of the housing market all with the goal of losing the most money
to get the bailout. That's going to be fun to promote," added Calder.
