STUDIES SHOW SURPRISING RESULTS REGARDING BIRM® NATURAL ALTERNATIVE
Ecuadoran Scientist discovers an aid based on Ecuadorean Amazon plants to improve the quality of life of people with illnesses

BIRM is a natural dietary supplement derived from plants belonging to the Solanaceas family, a special variety of plants from the Ecuadoran Amazon jungle which has garnered considerable worldwide attention after various research studies showed its capacity for balancing the immune system, helping to prolong and improve the quality of life in people with cancer and AIDS, as well as other illnesses.
The Biological Immune Response Modulator (BIRM) works on the immune system by balancing and strengthening them according to the needs of each individual organism. This dietary supplement helps maintain the immunological system in optimal condition in order to protect and defend it from attacks such as viruses, parasites, free radicals and the so-called oncogenes, which are the precursors of cancer.
This product has an immediate effect, which can be then tested in one to two months.
The BIRM formula was conceived in the 1980s by Ecuadorean Oncologist and Radiotherapist Edwin Cevallos, who for over thirty years has studied a wide variety of plants from the Amazon with the goal of treating illnesses that science has been unable to cure or treat up to this day. Dr. Cevallos presented the BIRM scientific advances at the Tenth Annual AIDS Conference in Japan, at the World AIDS Congress in Canada and at the First International Congress for Alternative Cancer Treatments in Madrid in 2005, among others.
Researchers from the University of Miami decided to carry out a study on the product after observing preliminary studies in cancer patients who were using BIRM. The Medical Journal “Cancer, Chemotherapy and Pharmacology” published the impressive results of this research in May of 2003 and the Miami Herald did an article about it by the end of 2007. That same year the U.S. Patent for the product was granted after the results of the aforementioned studies were obtained. Consequently, the United States Department of Health granted $1.2 million to support more studies in BIRM applications. Discovery Health magazine as well as CNN are some of the media outlets which have presented the BIRM discoveries worldwide.
A medical scientific conference was held on the official BIRM launch in Peru (March 2009), in which Dr. Cevallos presented the scientific studies which show that “BIRM is a natural alternative that balances the immune system and allows a person suffering from illnesses generated by an altered immune system (diminished or overloaded) to recover its normal immunological level and in this way, allowing them to fight the illness. It also prevents the development of tumors and malignant cells, and generates apoptosis, or programmed cell death, which diminishes the number of cancerous cells in the organism.”
