The Brazilian Franchise Association Retains TransMedia Group To Organize and Promote Orlando Delegation Feb. 8-13 of Brazilian Franchise Companies Planning To Expand to the U.S.
1/28/2008
The Brazilian Association of Franchises (ABF), a non-profit corporation backed by Apex Brasil, a government agency promoting exports and investment in Brazilian companies, has retained TransMedia Group to publicize expansion of Brazilian franchise companies into the U.S. TransMedia Group, one of largest independent PR firms in Florida and project partner Tema North will organize and promote the Brazilian Franchisor Delegation visit and Exchange Program Feb. 8-13 in Orlando.
The event will bring to Orlando the top executives of six successful Brazilian franchises in industries as fast food, chocolate fondue catering, travel agency, language schools, bookstores and franchise consulting. These companies will have the opportunity to meet with potential investors and other franchise organizations to learn how to successfully establish a franchise business in the U.S.
"We are proud to have been chosen by such an important Brazilian association to promote this gathering of major franchise executives who'll be exploring how best to expand their respective operations profitably into the U.S. market," said TransMedia Chairman Thomas J. Madden.
"We selected TransMedia because of the firm's extensive experience in promoting global commerce and trade," said Rogerio Feijo, Relationship Manager for ABF.
"We are confident TransMedia will raise the profile of Brazilian companies in the U.S., while connecting them with business opportunities, organizations and media that will enable their successful expansion into the U.S."
Before attending the International Franchise Convention, the six Brazilian franchisors will attend an exclusive seminar featuring experts in franchising who will instruct the Brazilian delegates on various methods of establishing their businesses in the U.S. The Brazilian Pavilion Seminar will be Feb. 8, followed by the Brazilian Pavilion Business Roundtable February 13 at which Brazilian franchises will meet face to face with investors interested in their expansion plans.
