Attention Shoppers: Shop Laughing Hires TransMedia Group To Publicize Its April Launch on the Web for the Fun of It

Shop Laughing has retained TransMedia Group to publicize its April Internet launch as the first home shopping show to feature entertainment streamed live from Miami to the web at www.shoplaughing.com.
The show will also be called Shop LOL (www.shoplol.com), as most web surfers refer to laughing out loud, according to Adrienne Mazzone, TransMedia Group's Director of Entertainment.
Shop Laughing/Shop LOL will be the first home shopping show to include entertainment between shopping segments and will look and feel of "much like 'American Idol' meets 'QVC,'" she said, as viewers will vote for their favorite performers.
The show will stream live from Miami by Bit Gravity and will feature a lively array of performers from child rappers to classical violinists as well as a broad range of innovative products, from skincare to pet products, on which TransMedia's publicity will be mainly focusing, she said.
