News Conference to Mark Reopening of AMI Building; Health Dept Expected to Lift Quarantine Next Week

The owners of the AMI building have retained TransMedia Group, one of South Florida's largest PR firms, to prepare a news conference within the next two weeks to mark the reopening of the building, which has received a clean bill of health. Federal experts have declared it anthrax free and ready for reoccupation.
The building's owners, David and Dr. Rebecca Rustine, who also own Crown Real Estate, said they expect Palm Beach County health authorities to lift the quarantine by next week and in the meantime all media inquires concerning the news conference and the building's reopening should be directed to the Boca Raton-based public relations firm.
"We want the world to know that this brave building, just like the spirit of America, is irrepressible and will rebound from any attack stronger, smarter and safer than ever," said Mr. Rustine. "TransMedia was selected to get the message out worldwide that the AMI building is back in business and is probably one of the most thoroughly examined and tested buildings in America."
"And it has passed all tests with flying colors," Dr. Rustine added.
The PR firm's founder and chairman, Thomas J. Madden, said Glen Calder, president of the firm and Kim Morgan, Vice President, will be in charge of preparing the news conference, worldwide press coverage and media tours of the famous building and its illustrious contents, including a vast collection of photographs of celebrities like Jacqueline Onassis and Princess Diana that have appeared over the years in AMI publications, The National Enquirer, The Star and The Globe.
