Manhattan-Based Real Estate Firm, Barkin and Associates, Retains TransMedia Group for PR
PR Firm's Founder Is Also a Realtor in New York

New York's premier real estate
investment and relocation company, Barkin and Associates
(http://www.barkinassoc.com) has retained the Florida-based TransMedia Group for
international public relations.
"Selecting TransMedia Group wasn't a very hard choice to make as the PR
firm based in Boca Raton is one of the top real estate publicity and
marketing firms in the country," said Susan Barkin, president of her own
widely-respected real estate firm in Manhattan.
Tom Madden, TransMedia's founder, also is a member of the Real Estate
Board of New York and keeps his real estate sales license at Barkin &
Associates. "So there are many reasons why TransMedia

"Not too long ago, we also sold one of Madden's real estate holdings in
Manhattan, an apartment at the Essex House overlooking Central Park for
$1.6 million," she said.
TransMedia will serve as Barkin's marketing and public relations arm,
working part time from Barkin and Associates' offices at 250 W. 57th St. in
Manhattan and from its offices in Florida and London.
Susan Barkin has established a worldwide reputation for selling,
managing and marketing high-end residential real estate in New York,
Florida and Israel. Prior to becoming prominent in real estate circles,
Barkin traveled the world as a dancer performing in various countries.
Today she is often involved in rental and sales of high-end, luxuriously
furnished and unfurnished apartments to people in the entertainment
industry during their performances in New York.
"Barkin and Associates is renowned for its personalized service and
dedication to its clients," said Madden, whose bi-lingual PR firm has
promoted the sale of over $1 billion in real estate and represents some of
the top real estate firms and developers in Florida, including top home
builder, GL Homes.

relocation experience," he said.
Winning the Barkin and Associates PR account comes at a propitious time
for TransMedia as the firm expands its base of New York clients, recently
having signed DAUM Crystal, whose U.S. headquarters are in Manhattan.
